    Introduction to Rock Climbing

    1 day · 1:6 ratio · £80.00pp
    A welcoming first step onto real rock. We’ll cover fitting harnesses and helmets, tying in, belaying, movement skills and how to look after yourself and others at the crag. Expect fun, encouragement, and plenty of time actually climbing - ideal if you’re brand new or have only climbed indoors a handful of times.

    A solid foundation in outdoor climbing and the confidence to join supervised sessions.

    Introduction to Trad Climbing

    Perfect for beginners with some basic experience, indoor climbers heading outside, or anyone who wants a confidence-boosting refresher. Over two days you’ll learn how to place and assess trad gear, build simple anchors, second routes efficiently and understand the flow of a trad day, so you leave feeling safer, calmer, and more in control.

    A clearer understanding of gear and anchors, improved judgement, and the confidence to second trad routes with good awareness.

    Learn to Lead

    2–3 days (depending on experience) · from £280.00–£385.00
    Ready to take the sharp end? This course bridges the gap between following routes and leading them yourself. We’ll focus on route choice, gear placements, building and equalising anchors, rope management and staying composed when it matters. The length of the course is tailored to your previous experience so you can build independence step by step, not all at once. Abseiling skills are included.

    A structured progression towards leading independently, with safer, calmer and more reliable systems.

    Multipitch Climbing Development

    2 days · £285.00pp
    For climbers with existing trad experience who want smoother, more confident days on longer routes. We’ll dive into stance management, building efficient anchors, reducing rope faff, communication, and route reading so your multipitch days feel calmer, cleaner and more enjoyable. Ideal if you’re already leading but want your systems to feel solid. Multipitch abseil descents are covered as well as rope management.

    More confidence, cleaner systems, and the skills needed to enjoy longer routes without the stress and faff.

    From Zero to Hero

    5 days · 1:2 ratio · £650.00
    A week-long progression for motivated beginners with basic climbing knowledge who want to make a real leap forward. Across five days we’ll build your skills and confidence towards leading easy multipitch trad routes or becoming a truly competent second. Expect lots of climbing, clear coaching, and a supportive environment.

    What you walk away with:
    Independence. A strong technical foundation, the ability to safely second or lead easy multipitch trad routes, and a clear path for future development.

    Self Rescue for Climbers

    2 days 1:2 ratio £285.00pp Climbing in the mountains or at the crag always carries an element of risk. When something unexpected happens - an injured partner, stuck rope, or being unable to descend - the ability to solve problems and rescue yourself or your partner can be crucial.

    This Self-Rescue for Climbers course is designed to give climbers practical skills and confidence to deal with difficult situations safely. Through hands-on scenarios and clear demonstrations, you will learn efficient techniques used by experienced climbers and instructors.
    During the course typically will cover topics such as:

    Escaping the belay

    Assisting an injured or stuck climbing partner

    Hauling systems and simple mechanical advantage

    Ascending a rope

    Passing knots while abseiling

    Problem solving and decision making at height

    Managing common emergency situations

    The course focuses on practical, real-world techniques that can be applied on single-pitch crags or in multi-pitch terrain.
    The exact course content will be adapted to the individual skill level and experience of the participants, allowing you to focus on the techniques most relevant to your climbing.
