Woman-owned. Instructor-led. Purpose-driven.
Hey, I’m Kasia - a Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor who’s passionate about helping people feel capable and confident in the outdoors.
My journey into the mountains began with a simple enjoyment of being outside and a curiosity about what I could learn along the way. Over time, that curiosity grew into a deeper commitment to developing strong skills, understanding how people learn, and creating safe, supportive experiences in wild places. What kept me returning wasn’t just the challenge - it was the sense of clarity, focus, and connection the mountains offered.
I’m now a fully qualified and insured Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI), working across the UK with established outdoor providers and delivering adventure training for the British Army. I’m proud to be part of the Mountain Training Association, British Mountaineering Council, Association of Mountaineering Instructors, and The Alpine Club, reflecting my commitment to high professional standards.
Before becoming an instructor, I spent years exploring mountain ranges across Europe and learning from experienced mentors who shaped my approach to teaching. They taught me that great instruction is about more than technical skill - it’s about communication, encouragement, and helping people grow at their own pace.
My aim is always to blend practical learning with personal growth, creating experiences that stay with people long after the day is over.
Safety and sound judgement underpin everything I do, supported by ongoing CPD and a wide range of experience across climbing, winter conditions, and alpine terrain.
Woman-owned. Instructor-led. Purpose-driven.
Mountainspace is my way of creating the kind of environment I once needed myself - a place where people can learn, explore, and feel genuinely supported in the mountains.
When I’m not instructing, you’ll usually find me on winter climbs, alpine routes, skis, or planning the next adventure.
Wherever you’re starting from, I’m here to support your journey and help you build the confidence and skills to enjoy the mountains your way.
See you out there,
K.
